Blog dimensions

Is there a way to make the blog look a little bit better ? A simple code or anything ? I am changing my design on our website, but I am not satisfied with the dimensions on the blog page. You can take a look here:

Hello Christer,
You can reduce the sideblocks in the "layout" tab by using a lower width. Unfortunately we do not provide support to custom HTML code since this doesn't depends on the program.
You can search useful information about the custom code with search engines like google or wait until someone on the community of Answers can help you.

Ok, but by reducing the sideblocks in the blog ? That's not possible is it ?

Eh, sorry - yes i know about reducing it in layout, I tried to enlarge them to fit more to the content on the right side of the page, but I am trying to make everything more in the center of the page. I think it's to much space between the sideblocks and the content on the right
