Because you question is how to add stock amount. I assume you already have x5 configured with a database to hold your stock value's.

If not then this needs to be done before you can add stock items.

in short:

  • create a database (this needs to be done with your provider)
  • add the database information from your host in x5 (step 1 data management)
  • goto shopping cart (step1) set in the TAB sending order the option "send data to databes" and select the data base you previously created)

Let me know if you need more information.

Hi , I have now created a database with stock value's, but when uploaded on a test-domain and configured website x5 to it, it gives me Out of stock when uploaded to the test-domain. Do you have any idea on what the table in the database should be configured to ? Would really appreciate your help her .

Ypu don't need to configure the database, x5 will do that, just provide one. Make sure adress of database login and password are correct. Check the faq with your hosting company.
