PayPal Integration
Author: Sharon B.Hello:
I'm using PayPal for payment processing. I did read another post regarding this but I don't feel the answer is reasonable. Right now upon entering a purchase, the confirmation email text is displayed after clicking the text "buy now" button at the bottom of the order form. This includes the formal PayPal "Buy Now" button.... which is incredibly confusing. So the customer is shown the "real" buy now button twice. What if they accidently click both? They are then double charged. I've never seen a PayPal integration like this, it's confusing for me and the customer. I've searched for a way to eliminate either the buy now button on the order confirmation page or the email, but unable to do this. If I have misunderstood anything, please let me know.
Also... why do I have to see all the foreign language posts that I can't understand. I went into my profile and deslected all the foreign languages and checked only English. Now I see nothing but the foreign posts and none of the English....go figure.
....Hi, I suggest to you to delete every think (about paypal payment) and start again with a new setting; I suppose you have a Paypal account. It is enough you follow the insctructions on the windows in all the voices, over all "type of payment"; you need to specify the account number, the page who confirm the payment, the page in case of an error occurs, and filling form for email as received payment...thats'it...
Hello Sharon,
What was the post you read regarding PayPal integration? Can you provide a link?
I understand the limitation you are describing. It is a shortfall in WebSite X5 at the present moment. There is a temporary workaround described here:

If you are having difficulty viewing threads in English only, then try bookmarking this link:

You can adjust the Language Centre, the entries for paypal, we use picture for paynow.
Where: "1 General settings -" language of the site "- ikon sheet of hand:
cart_paypal_image_1 btn_buynow = btn_paynow
cart_paynow new text "Pay Now", etc.
JJ.
