Hi,
When saving my project in WebSite X5 Professional 13, after lots af changes, the applications hang for sever houres. So I had to end the threat within the Windows task manager.
After that I restart the application and now the project cannot be loaded and WebSite X5 Professional 13 coms with the following error: An error occurred while deleting the project. [There is an error in XML document (0,0).]
The result is that the project cannot be opened.
So can you help me to correct this issue and do not lose the project, which was almost finished.......
Thanks.

Just some more information: the file project.iwprj2 is 0 KB and there is no back-up from the project only a export to disk....
Hi Ruud,
did you try to recover a backup of your project?
If you can't find any file, unfortunately you should recreate your project. It's for this reason that we always suggest to create backup copies while working on the project.
Please let me know, thank you very much

Hi Simone,
Thanks for your answer. I understand your statement of the back-up and yes unfortunately i have no back-up of the crashed application (as already mention in the initial call). On the other hand it is strange for a software solution that a save action can result in a total lost of the project! I think that is not acceptable. When I save a project, I would expect that the application it selfs wil make a backup of the curent project, and after that the changes will be saved.
It would also be nice ifI can make a back-up of the project within the project it self, and not that I first must save and close the project before I can make a back-up. Because at that moment i can lose the last changes I made in the project and that is not intention. In my opinion the current backup solution is unnecessary complicated (in the terms of the taken steps).

Ruud, you can make a backup (in PRO) at any time by clicking on the down arrow next to save, or one will automatically be created it you upload via the built in FTP program. Sadly, the first time, we all discover this after the event.
