Hi the question is,
after upgrade to X5 pro using the digital download section
is it possible to use the digital download section but without having to use paypal or other cards etc
ie if i wanted to send a FREE music file to someone I have recorded and need the secure connection as with the timed download link to keep his work safe and allow him to access at a time that suits

You can upload to a folder that you can create on your webserver (use the button on top when connected to your webhost (create folder), then goto this folder and use the upload button on top to upload your file) . If you don't give the folder name to anyone and set the music file in the folder it is just as save.
the link is then your normal website adres with / behind it and the folder name you gave, then another / then the full music file name. Give that link to your friend, (try it first yourself)
You want to be more safe? zip the music file with a password. and mail him the link with the password. very safe? send two mails one with password, one with link.

Use the download button in x5 and set it on a page that you secure (locked page) But the download button costs 10 credits.
Then he needs to login on the website with a user name and password. to get to the download page.
