Hi all
probably easy answer but here goes'
after working on my website, i tried to update the site on the users pages of websites.
My problem is that the link still call up an old version with a rubbish entry page which has been deleted
as i progress. any ideas to correct this so the review site is up to date..

You will need to clear your browser's cache. Usually pressing <CTRL>+<F5> will do a refresh. However, you may have to go into your browser's settings and clear the history if you're still seeing the older pages on the site.

Ok tried above suggestion and same result.
I have since tried on another PC laptop and get the same result !
Showing the entry page that i deleted months ago,
so other users are not seeing how i have progressed with X5. Maybe i need to post it as a new website to get around this error and delete the old one?
You must delete the file 'index.php' (and 'home.html', if you want) on your server. You can do this using the program after connecting to FTP.

I have checked right now and I could not see any intro page, so I assume you solved the issue following Serge's useful suggestion. Can you confirm that?
