I am ABSOLUTELY stumped!  en

Author: Myron A.

I am working with the HEAVY template that I purchased recently from Incomedia. On the Home Page there are two graphics that appear in the Preview, but it is absolutely impossible for me to find them inside ANY of the cells on this page. See the attached file. The two graphics are bg_home_1.png and bg_home_2 .jpg. How is possible for these two images to appear on the Home Page when they do not EXIST in any of the cells?

Please, if anyone can tell me how this template can work with non-existent objects, I'd love to know the secret. Better yet, tell me where these two images are HIDING!

Hi Myron!

Don't worry we are here to help and I will do it as quickly as possible!

Have a look at the screenshots I have prepared for you below and let me know if this can help you out!

If you are looking for the black image instead:

Look into the ''Row Formats'' Section, select the correct line, and customize it according to needs:

I hope this helps Myron, but if you have anymore questions, please feel free to write back!

Wishing you a good day!
Samantha

Hi Samantha, and thanks for your reply. WOW!!! Now I have even more questions:

1) How is it possible to have 2 rows inside ONE row? Can there be more, ie: 3, 4, 5 rows inside one row?

2) Why are some row numbers white (like 1, 2, 3, and 7) and others are tinted (rows 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11)? What does this all mean?

3) Why are the dots on the right hand side open in some rows and solid in others? What is the significance of this?

4) What is the reason that some rows are "locked" (or "linked"?) and others are not?

5) Is there documentation from Incomedia that explains "rows inside rows" somewhere?

6) When are you going to release a step-by-step video tutorial that truly explains all the "hidden gems" under the surface of Website X5?

Thanks again for your reply. At least I'll be able to sleep tonight.

Hi Myron!

Glad I tickled your fancy! So here I go with all the answers:

  1. You can click on this icon   to remove or add the lock. This gives you the chance to lock the rows together.

Yes you can set 1 image for several rows(by locking them together of course).
If you can not disable or add the lock, go into the responsive section
then check the order of the objects

  2. The rows are white when you have not set a background for them. If you select the colored line you will find that it has a background image or color.

  3. Same thing as the above answer. If the dot is full, there is a background image in the row, if it is empty, there's nothing.

  4. See answer number 1: when they are locked, 2 rows have the same background.

  5. I think this could be useful for you, have a look: https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/en/post/159924
