'image generation error' with a particular file  en

I have an image file that continuously produces the same error even when the size is much smaller than other files that don't produce the error. The error I get is 'image generation error'. I have read some of the comments here, followed the suggestions to reduce its size, put it on harddisk (even on SSD), changed the file format to jpg and png but nothing worked.

In the same directory are files located that are 10Mbit big that work fine.

Hello Rick

How did you change the file format ?

Did you change it by just renaming, or did you do it correct, by importing the file to a graphic program and from here save in another format ?

It is maybe a silly question, but if the file content does not match the filetype, then you could get an error.

Some programs can handle this - others can't.

If this is not the reason, then it would maybe be a good idea if you could attach the file.

Kind regards

John S.
