V14 Pro Menu Help Please

Hi,
I have just upgraded from V12 to V14
Is it me? or have I missed something? How can I move the menu to a certain position on the templateand how can I keep it visable at all times instead of just a smal square like I couls on V12?

The menu is now an object and can be placed everywhere.
If you have not enough space for the menu to contain it's pages then v14 automaticly switches to the small also called hamburger menu.
So make the space of the menu bigger or the items inside the menu smaller.

Dear Phil,
generally, if the menu was horizontal in the v13, you will find it in the header, and if it was vertical you will find it in the lateral bar. In both cases you can place it where you want just by dragging it, just like all Objects. You can also place it on a page and decide to show only a certain level, so have a page menu.
To avoid the hamburger menu you need to make the Object bigger and/or reduce the button size.

Sorry to be a pain.
Perhaps I am missing something with regards the menu.
My old site created in V12 (www.konamicollections.com) has a total of seventeen pages that show in the menu. Unfortunately for some reason I lost most of my V12 project files when I installed V14 alongside V12 so I don’t have the original files to load or convert. So I am having to start the site from scratch again, but I cannot find a way to get that number of files to show in the menu. All I can get is the little square, which I don’t want. Is there a way of changing the height of the side bar?

You are not a pain, we are glad with guestions and always happy to help.
If you only get the hamburgermenu it means that the items in your menu do no fit the space you have reserved.
This can be in height but also in width.
Goto step2, template content, select TAB sidebar. There you need (for every viewport!) set the space for the menu. Make it heigher even outside the border if needed, set it widther as well, you will then see your menu pop up.
Now you can start to make it smaller so it justs fit without seeing the hamburgermenu.
Remember the smaller the text spaces and menu height and width the less change you get the hamburgermenu as well. So keep an eye on both items and adjustements.
The smaller the viewports the less there is space and sometimes you are then obligated to use the hamburger menu, wicht you can also adjust seperatly in the menu object. (double click TAB -> Hamburgermenu)

I have been using Website X5 for many years and think its great, but seem to have trouble understanding V14, it could just be I am getting old :-).
