Hi I have setup a members site that has all pages locked apart from the landing page where I have the login set. If someone clicks on any of my pages the login box appears and they have to enter their details to gain access all ok so far. I have set the default page that they should be directed to (disclaimer) after login but this is not working. If I click on any page say News the login will appear and I enter details but instead of opening the disclaimer page it will open the news page (the page they tried to open before login). How can I set it to always open my default page no matter which page they try to open?

thanks,

Hello William,

The entry page works only if you use the login widget but if you try to open a password protected page and then you login it will show this page.

Many thanks!

Hi Claudio,

So is there a way to remove the menu bar from just the entry page so that it will force them to see the disclaimer page? I dont see the point in having a login page if it can be bypassed in this way wink

cheers

Hi Claudio,

I have managed to sort the problem by creating the home page without using the template. this works for me but just wondering if there is an esier way to remove the menu bar from one page only? Maybe I have missed somthing.

cheers

Hello William,

The only way to remove the menu from a page would be to add the menu in the page content on all pages except this one but in this way you will need to add it on every page.

The alternatives are or to use the page without template like you did or to use the entry page where you add the disclaimer in it or as image or as html code to show the text but the page without template seems to be the easier solution.

Many thanks!

Hi Claudio,

thanks for that. I will stick with using the page without the template. It works a treat and is very easy to implement.
