How to edit Headers and Footers

I have purchased the new ver 14 pro and also ver 13 pro, In version 12 you can go to the header or footer and change the wording by just editing the text header in my other newer versions it has all been changed ,My question is how can I change the header text, can I editing the text if so how?. when I try to edit what is in the header It just loses me as I am just lost on how to go about to edited it.
I am puzzeled as to why X5 has made such changes that creates so much work for the purchase with such changes to the whole outlook.
if it was not for that the Paypal issue in version 12 and below I would have stayed with the older version that is so much user friendly. Any information to me as a novice in laymens terms that I can follow maybe with illostrations on how to edit my site would be much appriciated Christine.
Christine, in the transition from V12 to V13 text in headers and footers was converted to images and so cannot be edited. To update your text I recommend you place a text object over it, edit the text, font, size etc until you are happy it can replace the V12 image, and then delete the text image. Do this for all text transferred from V12 in both the header and the footer.
