Using contact form to send emails to different addresses
Author: Tyler D.Hello, I am using WebSite X5 Evo 14 to create a new website (not yet online). I have a page designated as a "Contact Us" page, and I have put a contact form on the page. I would like to create a list in the contact form of the various departments of our organization, so that when someone chooses, for example, "Communications", the email is sent to "communications@...", but if they choose "Events", the email is sent to "events@...", and if they choose "Service Projects", the email is sent to "service@..." and so forth.
So far, I can only see that one email address may receive emails from each contact form. I would rather not set up a separate contact form for each department (but I may do so as a temporary workaround). Any advice is greatly appreciated!
The only way is set up different contact forms.
If you want something thing like this create an IDEA post, maybe Incomedia can make something for this in the future.
thx.

Thanks for your response! It's a pity, in fact, that it isn't already a feature. Ok -- I will propose it as an idea, and in the meanwhile, I'll just make separate contact forms. Thanks again!
Tyler, I had a similar need in a former life. I simply created a filter on the company mail server and forwarded the email to the appropriate person.
One form. with a simple single choice list.
