I have tried to install v15 from both the pop up and the link given in this forum. I am only able to dowdload a file "wx5_ev._  followd by a series of 10 digits with start wirh 15.  When I then try to open the file and am confronted with the dialogue message " this file does not have a programme assciate it for performing this action. I suspect that I need an executable file. Could someone help here please. By way of background I am of senior age and I would like to continue to use X5. I find its sometimes quirckiness a challange but which is useful for maintaing mental stimulaion. Than you in advance.

Phil, I strongly suspect a dubious internet connection (or the Incomedia servers are down)

Please try again, click on your profile (top right), then from the dropdown, download and then download 15.0.1

If the connection works reliably you will finish up with a normal executionable (wsx5_evo.exe)

If it does not work, please try again later and let us know.

Tried again using the my profile link with same results. I will wait till the folks in head office(Italy) awake from their weekend slumber in the hope they have a solution.

Phil, it really sounds like an issue local to your PC or internet connection, so I doubt Incomedia will be much help. I just went to my profile, selected download from the drop down menu and downloaded the file wsx5_pro.exe again and it works fine (although of little use to you because you use Evo).

Is it possible for you to (temporarily) disable any anti-virus/malware protection? You are not using a VPN? Can you try with a different browser (eg Firefox or Chrome). And if all else fails, do you have access to any other PC's?
