How can we have with website x5 evolution, in the url link : www.website.com/level/page ?

=> with slash separation in url between website/repertory/page. this site map-tree is important for SEO.

( see attached picture), the url must be for exemple: www.wesite.com/services/graphicdesign/2d-design

in your example the page url is : yourwebsite/Services/graphicdesign/2D-design

and probably .html behind it although it's for most browsers not needed.

if you have a space in graphic design then you need to set it in the url as well, i doubt the picture a bit for the space sign.

thank's for answer,

but...

in the case where we have 2 levels + 1 page in the 2nd level, example:
level 1 => level 2 => page 1 ( see attached map-picture )
the url link should be: www.mywebsite.com/level-1/level-2/page-1.html
but with website x5 evolution the link leads directly to the page without specifying the path: www.mywebsite.com/page-1.html.
so the path of 2 repertories: level-1 and level-2 is missing in the url!
my question is: with website x5 evolution, can we have the path of pages in the url, or not?

Hello PARSY

There IS no path. All pages is in the root, whatever levels you have in the menu structure.

Kind regards

You can however have the pagename and the "path" be shown on a page.

If you in 2 - text style

Specify the page title to be visible

And then the page-path also to be visible

You will have both the page-title and the levels for the page shown - but not in the URL, but on the page shown.

When set, this will be for all pages.

Kind regards

thank you ( Jhon) for your detailed answer.
so, with website x5, we find the tree of the path at the top of page, and not in url, as the majority of the websites (example: https://www.sony.com/electronics/home-cinema-projectors/t/home-cinema-projectors). if there is no path in URL, and all the pages is in the root, as you told me, with website x5-configuration ( path in top of page) , can we have the same efficiency in SEO in comparison with path in URL?

Sorry Parsy,

John is correct, the folders are only used for menu build up, not for the page adress, these are all called from the root.

The CEO will use correct path's.
