I have created a project with WebAnimator 3 Plus.
After importing the wax5-file into WebSite X5 version 15 Pro I get the following message:
"Unsupported WebAnimator version 3.0.1"

and this is because they do not check whether the program is working ... this should be done by you (as they believe). the main thing is to write what works and sell ... and to the rest they do not care. and this applies to all their products

Hi Kees,

thank you for your message.

You are right: it is currently not possible to import WebAnimator 3 animations directly using the HTML5 Animation Object. Still, you can insert your animations by following the steps described on this guide: https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/en/post/102409

We are anyway working at this aspect, so to make it easier in the future. Thanks!

Kind regards.

I wondered if I should buy Webanimator 3, but when I read this, my hair is upside down. INCOMEDIA brings a product that does not match the software?!

It's incomprehensible that Incomedia is promoting a product that doesn't (yet) work on WebSite x5 with the wax5-file obtained from WebAnimator 3!

Hi guys,

I can understand your point, but please consider that it will be already possible to directly embed the animation with the HTML5 Animation Object in one of our upcoming WebSite X5 updates.

Meanwhile, you can follow the instructions reported in the FAQ I linked above in order to start adding your animations right away.

Thanks! Kind regards.

@Elisa,

I posted number of questions regarding own JavaScrpt code added to WSX5. Your answer was always telling me that user's own JS code is not recommended, since it can interfere with the software. And yet you recommend it. Hm...

Thanks to your (and other support team members) responds, I learned and (almost) perfected JS additions for effects not provided by WSX5. But suggesting it for users without programming knowledge I find not right.

Hopefully, as you put it, "one of our upcoming WebSite X5 updates" will have the animation piece implemented . And it will be available for free for all v15 users.

Just my two cents...

Hi guys,

don't worry, as I said we will provide an update where you can directly import your animations as you used to. I will personally inform you when the update will be available.

Thank you, I wish you all a nice day.
