Shopping Cart Design Faults
Author: Rob M.Incomedia has not done two things, very basic things, to make the shopping cart worthwhile:
1) The order checkout is the wrong way around - you dont get an order confirmation then pay. When you buy groceries at a shop you dont have someone take the groceries out of your basket and say "do you really want this? Just to confirm. Good well here's an order number now go to that teller there and pay for it"
2) Incomedia sells WebX5 internationally but does not incorporate an international payment gateway option like STRIPE for seamless payment. Only PayPal which is not a good solution for credit card payments where the customer wants to pay now on your site.
Seems we have many users of Website x5pro who have complained about this for several years.
There are no users on the forum who offer API integration services for sale if I want to use external 3rd party html or PHP code.
I just started using the shopping cart and lost clients who disengaged from the order process and also some who complained.

I am going to find another solution as I have been using WebsiteX5 pro for many years and always falling down on the shopping cart - this order thing at payment is so WRONG it must have been designed by a coder who doesnt live in the real world or who doesnt read all the feedback above.
I will give WebsiteX5 5 work days before switching to Shopify or WordPress and abandoning this.... management at incomedia had a great idea but should have listened to their customers.
Pity we cant get our money back but constantly unhappy customers are going to mean your directors dont get to trade in their Ferraris next year :)
Good luck to the rest of you if you'll ever see a change to the shopping cart and even easy integration with STRIPE or other well known international payment gateway.
Hello Rob M.
You can enable any payment gateway button in Website X5
1st you have to choose which Payment gateway you want to integrate with your shopping cart. If you want Stripe, open https://stripe.com/ and register yourself>After all setups you will get an html code from Stripe>Copy the HTML Code and Minimize your Browser
Now Open your software>In step 1:Settings-Select Shopping Cart>Then go the 'Order Management Section'>Now in the 'Payment Type List' click on 'Add'>In the window select 'Type'>Now click on the Payment type option and choose 'custom code'>Now 'Paste' the HTML code you got from 'Stripe'>Now click on 'Ok' and save it>Then upload your website to the internet and it will work
If you findany problem regarding 'Payment' option of your shopping cart keep posting.
Incomedia is associated with PayPal, MultiSafePay, SagePay, RoboKassa and PagSeguro. PayPal is the most used International Payment Gateway. If you go for Wordpress, the default Payment Gateway you will find is PayPal.
Incomedia has many limitations for Shopping Cart but Its the best for Beginner and Small Businesses.
I suggest you before switching to any other Web Builder, try the above mentioned process.
Hope this will help you
Thank you
