Email object not sending emails to webmaster  en

I have a 'contact us' page using the Email Object.  It has worked OK for a number of years. Suddenly, it still sends the confirmation email to the user but does not send the origianl email back to me. No email error messages are received.

I have tried using the setting in the Data Management section without success.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

David.

Did you check spam box/email settings of your mail client?

Yes, what I am doing to test the object is to use the form on the actual website and send an email myself. That way I should get both copies of the email. The one sent to me as a question and the reply confirming sending.

I get the confirmation reply but not the original email.

Some servers are clever enough to see that there are 2 mails from one place and then just send one.

Did you use different mail adresses?

Yes. We first learned of the problem when an irate customer complained that we hadn't replied to his email despite him receiving a confirmation email.

Hi David.

If you are currently using an email from the same domain to send and receive, it is pretty weird that you're only receiving one.

I would like to ask you to perform the following check before digging deeper into this. I suppose you're resorting to your hosting's mailing server to get the emails out.

You should try and contact their support, as they should be able to determine exactly why a certain email is not getting sent correctly.

Try and do this, and let me know here what they reported, so that we might eventually look deeper into this

Thank you for any feedback

Stefano
