Since the upgrade when trying to submit a data form receiving error website message

Hello.Try changing the version of PHP to 7.1.Try to unload the site completely, and not just update.
My hosting is with PHP 7.1 and when I updated my site using the new Evo I received a message "enbble java script" so I uploaded completely and I received error website message on form submissions. I have contacted my website hosting tech support to take a look and after they took a look at my website and they said the developer has script error in the program. So I reintalled the previous verion 17.1.2 and reuploaded my website and now it works fine. It seems we have to wait until the Website X5 developer fixes the script error in the new Evo program that causes the error in the submission forms.
Sadly, so far I have not been able to reproduce this fault (although I am sure it exists)
"It seems we have to wait until the Website X5 developer fixes the script error in the new Evo program that causes the error in the submission forms." - I think you are right.
An Italian user has solved in this mode:
"I entered the Contact Form Object settings, I deleted a field (eg. name and surname), then I've recreated that field again and I did CTRL + Preview, I used the Save function to save the project and then I exported online the web site and everything seems to work perfectly."
Good day to everyone
I would like to inform you that the issue has been addressed in the latest 2019.1.6
It seems to have been generated by a faulty installer prior to the 2019.1 release that didn't correctly overwrite older files.
Please update your software and try this again. Give me a feedback here if possible
Thank you
Stefano
I have updated to the 2019.1.6 version and uploaded the website and it works fine. Thank you.
I have the same issue as described above, except the measures suggested do not work for me.
My contact form (https://www.japaneselamps.com.au/lamp-order-form.html) has been working successfully for years, and now does not!
Yesterday I updated my WS X5 Pro to Version 2019.1.6 (64 bit) and uploaded the new website. Once completed, the form is submitted and then hangs on the page https://www.japaneselamps.com.au/imemail/imEmailForm.php
I have tried deleting the online files before uploading - no luck!
I deleted and re-entered the "Name: " field - no luck!
I have 2 separate websites using WS X5, and both are affected i the same way.
The contact form is the only way my clients can give me orders, so this problem is disasterous for me.
Can anyone help further, especially Incomedia?
Peter, did you resolve this issue or does it continue?
I cannot find a contact form (only an email link under lamps) on your website
Have you checked the version of php you hot is running? (should be minimum 5.6 and most here recommend 7.1)
Did you click on the link I gave you https://www.japaneselamps.com.au/lamp-order-form.html mate?
That will take you straight there!
Hi Peter, I will put my details into your contact form as a test. Let us know if it gets to you. Fantastic product by the way! I live in NZ and do a lot of workshop stuff in my role as a technology and art teacher. Wayne
Looks like it hangs exactly where you indicated. Esahc suggested to check your php settings. I had to get my web hosts to activate php selection before I could update mine to 7.1.
Thanks for taking the time, Wayne.
I've just been informed that I'm running 5.3, so I'll now update and post the results.
Everything's working fine after I updated PHP to version 7.1.
Thanks to those that helped!
