Contact Form missing User Email Confirmation Message  en

The contact form stopped working for a website I uploaded after the 2019.1.4 update.  It also stopped redirecting to a confirmation page link once the form was submitted.

I have done the update but noticed that the user confirmation message is also now missing.  Will the person who submits a contact form enquiry on the website now get a blank email?

Please if you can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Anita, if you provide the website URL we can check (or you could simply contact yourself through the feedback form to see what happens).

I have upgraded a number of sites to v2019 but have not had these issues except where the php version on the host was too old, does your feedback form work as expected in the preview??

The (english) answer to this post may also assist.

It works in preview but my concern is w hen a visitor submits a contact form they will no longer get a personalised email as was in version 17. This is because there is no message box in t he contact settings in the new version.

My apologies Anita, I could not find this either. It is cleverly hidden until the working window is dragged deeper.

The missing message box on the right hand side is what I am referring to. The left is the message the website owner gets. the one under confirmation ia what appears to be missing now.

Anita, scroll the pic I provided down (show more) and you will see the confirmation message box.

Anita - did you solve this issue?

I am now aware that if your screen resolution is less than 720 vertical you may not be able to see the field. If your screen is only 720px deep (right click on windows desktop, check display settings), select full screen for wx5 and you should see "a sliver" of the message field. If you set the taskbar to auto hide you should see more.
