Question for Incomedia Developers  pt

Author: Tom G.

I have a question for Incomedia Developers Team. Not for Technical Support – for Developers.

There are number of requests regarding the E-Commerce part of WSX5 software. Every time some moderator promises to forward a request to developers. And this is where the request post ends. You cannot ask additional questions regarding the status, because your question will be made “private” (not visible to anyone else but you) and you will be informed that it is against paragraph so and so (happened to me recently). I have never seen any response from developers, even though it was promised…

This is the last one:

My appeal to the development team...

This is the other one:

Website x5 needs a drastic update  (from March 2019)

And E-Commerce is not the only one question never answered. There are more, like:

Show/Hide objects for different resolutions (from October 2018)

or

V17 Sticky Bar Problem  (from November 2018)

... and one of the latest:

Hover Button effects do not work anymore!  (from beginning of July 2019)

I’m pretty sure I could find more request and errors reports that ended up in nowhere…

So,

Dear Developers, can you please inform us what is that you are working on in regards of users’ questions?

Hello Tom

Did you get a reaction on this?

I also mean that the e-commerce should be more professional.

It should be so, that clients could maintain products and prices from a "dashboard".

No reaction from Incomedia... They just made it "private".

I'm getting ready to write a letter to high management of the company to make them aware how their support works.

I can see people visiting this post. Yesterday was 19, today already 39. Are those Support people?

Whoever reads this, please make comment!!!

Hi Tom,

thank you for getting in touch.

Please consider that when a suggestion is made, or when an issue is spotted, the matter is always reported to the developers for it either to be taken into consideration for further developments (in case of Ideas) or to be fixed (in case of problems).

In the first case, unfortunately,  we cannot provide a timing for the suggested function to be possibly implemented: there are many aspects, a part from the technical one, which need to be taken into consideration when it comes to implementing a new function, and unfortunately this process can take time.

In the second case, when the issue is reported to the developers for it to be fixed, we generally inform when the issue is fixed by writing back on the post: in this case, you can of course ask for any news if you want to be updated, and, we would be happy to provide any details, should they be available.

As far as your message is concerned, the one you mentioned to have been set as private, if you can please report the link I can check the situation.

Thanks! Kind regards.

Elisa,

Your response doesn't explain why my post was made "invisible" to other users...

This is the one

Was my comment offending anybody, or was it just something uncomfortable for support to answer?
