Hamburgermenu causes mobile unfriendlyness according google  en

Since I added 400 or so pages to hamburgermenu google warns me that about 50 pages are not operative for mobile devices. Elements to close, While in reallity those 50 do not differ technicly from the others.

I tried the overlay menu but that is really and sorry to say a waste of credits. While on forhand i imagined to use that one if the max of 500 pages would be a bit to much for a part of the screen.

Where does the inconsistency come from? I use the settings as no effect, distance and margins 5, speed 25%.

I do not enclose a picture because each page delivers via google search control a different print screen, but it is clear that the menu spoils the pudding for me.

Thanks in advance.

P.S. in general a lot happier then say a year ago

I expanded the width from 300 to 350 and that seems to give result, but because of the mentioned inconsistency of the reports i cannot say problem solved (yet). FYI

the link is www.clubtaxi.nl but i can tell you there was and is no problem visable. I got 2 warnings from search console, one was the width other distance, what should not be with 4 distance but i expanded to 5, and the width was bigger then screen. There I went from 300 to 350. That worked so that indicates that the text in the menu was oversized for 300, what was for sure not the case.

Something seems off here

Hello Raoul

I would like to help you out with this but I'm not sure I completely understand the issue.

If you're receiving an error from the Google Search Console, please attach it here as to better be able to understand what the error is.

If the warning you're getting is that there are "elements too close to each other", I'm afraid that this is a design problem and not something strictly connected to the software. Google thinks that some clickable elements on your website are too close to each other. This can be easily solved by increasing the space between them. I believe that there's not much else to do for such an error. If with the current design this seems impossible to achieve, a change of design will be needed

I hope I was helpful

Stefano
