Overlay Menu does not actually Overlay the menu  en

I just purchased the overlay menu and expected that it would give me additional options to the bland hamburger menu that is already on the site, but it seems that it only gives me the option to add another menu to the same page and does not actually replace the hamburger menu.  Am I missing something?  Why would anyone want to do this?

Hello. This object should work as described here https://market.websitex5.com/ru/objekty/predprosmotr/109860b8-2f31-41b7-a3be-2731327326d

If this is not so, then you can contact the technical support of the developer.

"and expected that it would give me additional options to the bland hamburger menu that is already on the site" - Objects do not supplement other objects with new options.

"but it seems that it only gives me the option to add another menu to the same page and does not actually replace the hamburger menu." - judging by your description and the description of the object, it seems that the object works as stated in the text.

"Am I missing something? " - no.

"Why would anyone want to do this?" - maybe someone likes the animation of this object.

Hi Gabriel,

as Aleksej explained, you can use the Overlay Menu Object to create a Hamburger Menu which includes the first level menu items. When you open it, the menu overlays all the available space on the page. If you use this menu, you can simply remove the regular Menu Object.

Please let me know if I can be of further help. Kind regards.

I have the same issue as Gabriel.

One would assume the overlay menu would replace the Tiny hamburger menu and provide the same information as the regular hamburger menu does.

It only shows the main menus of that page only, and not the level menus that show all menu pages of the entire website like it does in the in the regular hamburger menu.

So how can my customers be able to browse my website like this? This Menu Object has something seriously missing, we should be able to choose and show the entire sitemap pages with the first and second level menus just like the standard hamburger menu does.

This is a Big disappointment and serious flaw to an otherwise nice object but lacking in the development department. This renders it not useful at all.

I hope it is just me not doing something correctly.

Thank you for all of you that reply.

Best Regards,

Giulio
