Problems uploading large poject

One project has about 415 pages. The software runs fine working on these pages, from start to upload.
But as soon as I add one page, missery starts. It is like the complete project needs to get rerendered. After copy paste of a page the problem starts. Any click or use of function will cause a hunged state. Preparing for upload takes hours, pocessor clearly struggles.
Am I right, am I overasking my hardware, if so what are the minimum requirements? Or, what are the preferred settings to minimize render issues?

Unfortunately, even on a minimal change, a website, a test or something else sometimes overwrites all the files on the server and the PC processor works at max. Have you ever tried to save the project on your PC and export with filezilla (free).

When applying certain edits to your project, the software might need to recreate some pages. This is true for edits made to the Header and Footer for example. This shouldn't be so if you're only changing data in a single page. How big is your project at the moment in size (GB)?
Also, do you have many empty cells in your project? This can cause major slowdowns to your software. Attempt to remove those or fill them in with empty Text Object. You're sure to notice an improvement
