Export to Internet  en

Whenever I 'Export to Internet' after modifying my website, I receive a warning that my selected server/destination folder do not match.  Examination of them seems absolutley correct, and the export works successfully.  Why am I receiving this apparently redundant mwarning?

hi,

you must check the name of the folder assigned by your provider on the server and insert the correct director on the website.if you put a screnshott someone will tell you how to set it correctly.you have to be careful even if your http:// or https:// domain may also depend on it.

I have checked all this and can't get rid of the message.  My site uses https and I have tried using both in the setup.  Also, the directory is set correctly.  It's actually a bit of a mystery, because despite the warning everything actually uploads and works correctly.

Stephen, can you provide a screen shot of your upload screen?

If the URL is wrong it affects the menu, does the current page you're on get correctly identified in the menu?

I'm not exactly sure that I understand your question "If the URL is wrong it affects the menu, does the current page you're on get correctly identified in the menu?" Can you elaborate a little please?

Here's the screenshot you requested.

As I siad originally, although I get a warning message, nothing appears to be wrong and the website uploads perfectly

I am also getting an identical problem to the one Stephen C. is describing here, and I too would like an answer!

Stephen, please see https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/en/post/226101 regarding the current page in the menu.

Here is a screenshot of mine versus yours. Mine does not throw an error. I am surprised you cannot configure yours like mine with the ftp address being your domain (but I have not used freeola.net). Be that as it may, perhaps Incomedia can advise so I have requested their assistance.

Thanks for this. If I use the domain name for the FTP address it errors when trying to connect.  My hosting server (Freeola) confirm that the FTP address should be the actual FTP server, as I have it.  This is also what I always successfully use if I upload files using an external FTO program.  Very odd!  Hopefully Incomedia can help here.  Incidentally, is there any way that I can contact Incomedia directly, rather than cluttering up the community chat room like this?

Regards

Stephen

I have this on one of my sites also. It's been a common question asked on this board many times before and everyone has just said "ignore it because the site will still load". My provider gives me an actual ftp address to use - I can't just put the domain name.

Because it only happens on one site (I have 4) I haven't really tried to find out why. I will look at the settings on all my sites (they are with the same provider) and see if I can see any differences in the settings.

Stephen, if you want to communicate directly with Incomedia (especially if including sensitive information), simply set the first post as private (click on the red eye near the gear). No-one else will see the thread.

Hi Stephen, Did you write that you are using https?True?Double check why you have http on your screenshot, while online you site have https. If you use https, what you see from your screenshot changes the site address.or
when you export the site enter the settings for https, it should solve the problem.
change from the settings of FTP - Transfer protocol, which you see on your screenshot -> in SFTP - SSH File Transfer Portocol? Let me know if you still get the error, or does it work by changing it?

I have tried all these ideas, but still receive a warning message.  My host will not accept the SFTP-SSH File Transfer Protocol, so I can't even attempt that.  As Asahc said, it it isn't broken don't fix it!  I'll just live with the wardning since everything is actually working!
