Have you tried using another method to connect, such as filezilla (free). See if that will connect - if not then you may have a server issue.  If it does connect then you may have an X5 issue or settings issue.

Hello.
1) Temporarily disable your antivirus and firewall.
2) Do not use VPN.
3) Make sure that your Internet connection is not occupied by anything. For example, torrents.

Hi, I had the same problem as you, changing the protocol so the problem was solved.with antivirus and firewall active, it has not presented any problems since then.don't believe when they say it has nothing to do with it.it's not true.if you want try otherwise listen to what others say.

If you change protocol to SFTP as A. Kris suggests, that should solve it. I had to do that when starting to use SSL certificates.  hope you get it sorted..

Hello Kalpesh,

I believe you will find the cause of the trouble to be that the http and ftp protocols are pointing to different servers:

77.111.240.144 and 46.30.211.86 respectively.

So you need to contact one.com and ask them to provide you with SSL certificate(s) which cover both the https and ftps protocols, but also ask them to validate the A records (DNS) for your site to ensure that they are pointing to the appropriate server.

Kind regards,

Paul

I have upgrade my Internet speed upload connection to 30 MBPs and after that upload to one.com server getting done nicely succesfully.

only one problem i am facing is that i have redirect my webisite from http:// to https:// and also done SSL certificate to my website... in this when i upload my file it give an option of changing folder which is already set as my FTP setting as per as one.com. now i am little confuse that what i do change in that...

i also tried my website name from http://www.example.com to https://www.example.com but the message is same..

The http and ftp protocols are pointing to different servers.

http://lifewithcolours.in currently resolves to IP address 77.111.240.176

http://www.lifewithcolours.in also resolves to IP address 77.111.240.176

But ftp://lifewithcolours.in (which you are uploading to) resolves to IP address 46.30.211.86

That's why you are receiving the warning from WebSite X5:

"The selected server or destination folder does not match the website URL.  Do you want to set it now?"

Now that you have an SSL certificate installed (good!) you need to switch from plain FTP to FTPS (FTP-SSL/FTP Secure) in Step 5 > Website Export to Internet > Server Type

Then change the FTP Address (also in Step 5 > Website Export to Internet) from ftp://lifewithcolours.in to ftps://lifewithcolours.in

You should be OK after that as ftps://lifewithcolours.in does resolve to IP address 77.111.240.176

Good luck!

You'd need to approach one.com for the correct settings to use in conjunction with your own particular server.  One server's requirements can be completely different to another's.

Sometimes the host will require that you connect on an alternative port to the one suggested by WebSite X5 (for example, port 21)

Some hosts might not support the implicit FTPS protocol.

Strangely, I could not find any information relating to FTPS whatsoever, when conducting a brief search on the support section of one.com on your behalf.  This makes me wonder if they perhaps restrict server access to FTP and SSH/SFTP protocols only.  That would be unusual in my experience, but having never hosted with them I simply don't know.

Perhaps others can shed more light on the matter.  However, this really is an issue for the support team of one.com.  Did you ask them to check the DNS records for your website?

Unfortunately one.com hold all the answers as to why your server has been misconfigured in this way.  They are the only people who can help you properly resolve this issue, as they have full access to your server.

They should (at a minimum) be able to give you an explanation as to the mismatch in your DNS records that I referred to above:

Manage your DNS settings (one.com)

It's worth being persistent, and perhaps asking that the matter is escalated to a more senior member of their support team.

You can point them to this thread if you like...  https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/en/post/229925
