Ecommerce - automatic display of prices in visitor's currency  en

I see 2Checkout somehow displays / or adjusts the currency displayed depending on the visitor's geographic location. So I guess you would set some kind of reference currency (such as USD) - and then 2Checkout uses the current exchange rate to display what that converts to in the visitor's currency (e.g. EURO)?

How would that work with Websitex5? See:

@ Craig

Nice idea - but considering all the things related to eCommerce section of the WSX5 - we could not expect to see something like this any time soon...

Heck, I have wrote dozens of times (out of sheer necessity) about the importance of adding another payment gateway (2checkout would be an excellent choice) - so that almost 99% of WSX5 users could have at least one working PG to use.

(I cannot use PayPal because it doesn't allows me to receive payments in my local currency - which is a total bummer for me)

Hi Sinisa,

Have you tried Akesej's solution yet for 2checkout? See this thread: https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/en/post/228246

Well, not for 2checkout but Axel has built from scratch BORGUN payment gateway for WSX5 - where I can use my local currency. Actually, he sells the complete solution for a very, very fair price (one time payment).

If you wish I can send you the link to the BORGUN pg?

Sure thanks I'll take a look at that too. I don't think it is a special gateway or anything fancy from Aleksej, just a bit of code you get from 2checkout that you paste into the custom code window under the shopping cart -> type -> payment type.

I'm just wondering how Websitex5 communicates with payment gateways, especially using the custom code option. It must be able to receive back a signal via API or something to say that the payment was successful?

Yes, PHP + javascripts.
On BORGUN implementation Axel did all the programming - I just help a bit with the "How to install on WSX5" manual.
