Have just bought "0396 GreyMonotone" and have a problem: Where are the graphics inserted? When I edit the text field, the graphics dissapears? When I insert the graphics from the folder where the template is located I get the error message: "Image Generation error..." I have upgraded to the latest version (Website X5 Update 9.0.6.1775) a while ago where this issue should have been solved? Please help me with a solution. Looking forward hearing from you soon. Thanks, Henrik

Hello Henrik!

Could you please explain exactly where you are editing your text? In a text object? in your header?

''When I insert the graphics from the folder where the template is located I get the error message..''What exacatly are you trying to do here? Why are you picking the graphics from the template folder?

Please describe carefully the issue and attach a screenshot if possible of the error.
Thank you!

Hello,
Accessing this cell – doing nothing at all – and the graphics is gone. I haven’t changed, inserted, removed or saved anything, just been looking at the cell and leaving it again.

When checking frontend the graphics is gone/deleted? I Can’t insert the graphics again using the PICTURE-tool to navigate to the folder where the graphics is placed. When inserting the graphics again – there is still an error?

It’s like some kind of link is broken to the folder with the graphics, when accessing the cell? If I access another cell, graphics is also lost – so it’s not the specific cell – is an overall issue.

I’m running  a MacBook Air with Parallels (virtual PC) and Windows 7 64-bit installed. Everything seems to run smooth (Website X5) except this phenomena.

Please let me know if this is sufficient description or if you need further information.

Thanks.

Thank you for explaining. Could you please try to open a new project, open the template and add a different image (not the one you used previously) in the image object. After, please test your page (preview button) and let me know what happens.
Thank you!

A pocture can be uploaded in the backend without any problem. But fails. Have a look at the backend screendump.

I have tried to remove Danish special characters in the path and filename, nothing helps.

Hello Henrik, excuse me for making you wait.

Where are your pictures stored? Where are you taking them from? Please try to create a folder on your computer and pick them from there when adding to your project. Once you have done this, please press CTRL (on your keyboard) + preview (with your mouse in the program's window). This will refresh it.
Please let me know if the issue is fixed!
Thank you!

Thanks, but unfortenuatly the same problem. I have re-installed my PC to speed it up. The same problem occurs after re-intalling Website X9 (latest version). It only happens when selecting a TEXT AND TABLE object. When inserting image in this object and pressing CTRL+ PREVIEW same happens. Please see attached screendump.

Thanks for helping...

Why are you adding your images with the text/table object? You are complicating your life! SmileI you use the Image object you can add it more easily! Please try and let me know if the same thing happens.
Where are you adding it from? Where did you save your images?

Maybe, but in the original template you (websitex5) by yourself adds images to text/table object, and it has been working very fine so far, but not now? I know the photo object, but it sometimes gives other problems controlling the design and it should by the way be possible to add pictures in a text/table object... It's a basic feature in most editors... or? The pictures are stored in the image folder in the preview folder. The pictures are added from the picture folder, and the relative path is intact. As you can see from screen dumps attached earlier, the pictures can be added when working with the text/table object, but when previewing or saving the pictures are failing not showing up.

Is there an update taking care of this issue? Or what should I do? I need it to get to work, as many of my websites are based/buildon this (basic.. :0) feature. And not to forget, it has been working fine before...

Thanks...

Br,

henrik
