Website Export to the Internet  en

I have been successfully exporting a website to the host site using the Export tools.  Now I have amended the ftp parameters and changed the user name and password.

I tried exporting but all I get is a 'unable to connect to the server' error.  I have checked the details more than twice but it still gives me an error.

So I exported the website using the tool provided to a file location and then connected to the host server using Filezilla and the same parameters and was able to upload successfully.  So we know that the ftp login details are correct.

There is obviously an issue with the export tool.  I think it would be useful to provide more verbose description of what is happening when it tries to connect.

Also, what is the significance of having to enter an email address?  As the ftp details are correct, this seems to be the obvious area of failure.

I have tried duplicating the site from the previous version and entering the new ftp login details but that fails to connect as well.

Is there any other action I can do?

Web hosting provider name and additional screenshots of website URL and destination directory and FTP parameters would be helpful. Possibly blur some information if it should not be public.

The websites in the profile or the domain are hosted at IONOS and there are 2 websites, one under the domain and one under a subdomain.

2 Websites:

...pacas.eu (Domain)

gite. ...pacas.eu (Subdomain)

If the FTP password was copied, then a space may have crept in with it.

For what reason do you have adjusted the FTP parameters and changed the username and password? Was everything changed correctly and entered by hand - not inserted with copy & paste? Please upload a screenshot of the entered access data.
