Google Analytics 4 help  en

I want to add Google Analytics 4 into one of my sites. I read a post that showed some good answers from Daniel W (with screenshots, although they were in German) and I have added in my code at what I think is the right place.

However, on the "Statistics" tab, after I select "Google Analytics 4" it also asks for my Tracking ID. Reading the guide to GA4 it says that it no longer uses a Tracking ID, but now uses a Google Tag ID.

Is this what I put into this box (it won't let me continue without something in there) and how do I find out what my Tag ID is?

I don't use this Google service, but I was looking for information and found this - maybe it will be helpful.

[GA4] Find your Google tag ID

Use the Google tag ID for Google Analytics 4 properties (vs. the Tracking ID for Universal Analytics properties).

Find your Google tag ID

A Google tag ID is a series of letters and numbers that usually starts with "G-".

To find your Google tag ID , do the following:

  1. Sign in to your Google Analytics account.
  2. In Admin, under Property settings expand Data collection and modification.
  3. Click Data streams.

If it doesn't work, wait for the moderators or GA4 users.

If there is an error in the WebSiteX5 program, Incomedia would have to fix the error with an update.
