When I write text in the text object and decide to preview it by clicking preview to see what it will look like, I go back to my text to undo anything I didn't like and find that the undo button doesn't work. That only happens after I click the preview button to preview my text. Is there a way to use the undo feature after viewing my text in preview?

Hi Jerald,
thank you for getting in touch.
If you start the preview with CTRL+ Preview can you see the changes you applied?
Thanks!

Hi, Elisa. I tried CTRL + Preview, but the page froze. I had to restart. I tested the problem again. If I correct the text and hit preview to see the change, and then go back to the text to undo any changes, the undo button becomes disabled, and I have to literally retype what was changed. It seems that hitting preview disables the undo button for some reason.
Hi Jerald,
please let me check if I understand correctly the steps you take.
In this correct?
Does this happen with any Text Object on any page of your project as well as on other new test projects too?
Thanks!

HI Elisa, that's correct! I will click "Preview" within the Text Object before clicking "OK" to Save to get a quick preview, and that's when I experience the issue. I also tested it on another website project I was working on, and the same issue occurred. The undo button will stay highlighted, but it doesn't work to undo any changes I made if I click Preview within the Text Object. It works fine within the Text Object itself with no issues, as long as I don't click preview within the text object. It only happens when I click Preview within the Text Object before clicking OK to save.
Hi Jerald,
I was able to reproduce the issue, I'm reporting this to the developers, thank you!
Have a lovely day.

Awesome! Thanks Elisa.
Hi Jerald,
we verified the issue and, though we understand that the current behavior of the Undo button may not be ideal, I was confirmed that a change in this sense is not planned. Unfortunately, making a deeper change would require a complex development effort that is not planned at this time. However, to improve clarity, we do intend to disable the Undo button after the Preview is viewed.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions or concerns.
Best regards.
