Accessibility adjustments on web pages
Author: Marius T.Hi
Does anyone can tell about the new Accessibility adjustments on web pages?
Is this mandatory like Cookies? Who is asking for this?
This is all new for me.
Accessibility adjustments on web pages involve modifications like adding alt text for images, ensuring high color contrast, enabling full keyboard navigation, providing captions/transcripts for media, using clear headings, and allowing text resizing, all to make content usable by people with disabilities (like visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive impairments) and benefit all users through clearer, more adaptable design. These changes often follow guidelines like the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and improve compatibility with assistive technologies such as screen readers, magnifiers, and speech recognition software.

Hello Marius,
you can refer to our guides such as https://guide.websitex5.com/en/support/solutions/articles/44002580100-web-accessibility-principles-benefits-and-challenges for additional information.
Although not a legal obligation for all types of websites, it is still recommended to make these adjustements, as the lack of accessibility can hurt a website in terms of SEO.
I remain available.
