Same problem - PHP script does not work when loaded to server.  Send Page on V9 is very very confusing - very different to V8 - not clear what the "sender email address" is and whether the box should be ticked or not

Yes V9 is quite different from V8 and for that reason, reading the user manual is a must. You can get a copy of it in the download section of this site, or get it at:

http://www.websitex5.com/download/v9/websitex5_evolution9_en.pdf

Read page 86 and following.  If your server was supporting PHP with V8, there is no reason it wouldn't support it in V9.

I have a similar issue.  Site is uploaded to a Windows 2003 server running IIS6.  PHP is installed and bound to the site, and other test scripts work fine.  The Captcha is displaying and the script must be running as the last line in the script is the confirmation page call - and it displays and works fine.  No e-mails though!  Is there a certain version of php that is required?  The version on the server is 5.2.3.  Any ideas?

Same problem - I have since changed host server and reverted to V8 - it now works.  I still find the wording of of the form send instructions very confusing - who is the "sender email address" - does it mean the address to which the emails wil be sent.  The whole paragraph "send data by email - sender E-mail address" in the manual (page 92) is difficult english.  Does it mean that if you dont select the option (ie leave it blank) the email will be sent to the website designers email address - in this case mine?

I have the same problem.  Forms worked wiht my previous version.  I have installed v9 and built a new site, and now forms don't work.  My server is Windows IIS 7.0 with PHP 5.2.  I still have the old version of x5 on my computer and when I publish the site from that version the forms work, when I publish the site in the new version, they don't work.  I have gone through the manual and tried the different settings for the preferences with no luck.
