I would like to let you know that we just released a BETA update for WebSite X5. All you have to do is go to http://beta.websitex5.com  and enter your Licence Key. After that, when you will launch WebSite X5 you will be notified that a new BETA update is present, so you can download it.

I remind you to test this update in a second PC and, especially test it on a backup copy of your document. The projects saved with this version (9.0.1.1684) could not be opened with the actual version (9.0.0.1654).

Amazing , you set posts to private because you dont like people telling the truth about anything you sell, nice slippery slope you are on there.

And we dont want a BETA update , we want a fully working one, theres no way i'm installing something that even YOU are not sure works.

Fix it before you release anything else that doesnt work properly.

Why are you selling something you consider still BETA.

Thats almost like selling something that say SAMPLE.

It will lose you customers.

Does it exist a changelog for the beta update?

Yep, the changelog would be very useful to help the decision of aplly or not the update...

The beta messed up my images in my local folder.

Dont Bother its not worth it. I paid over £75 for a copy on CD in a box and found it to be not worth what I paid for it. I am sticking to Ver 8 now. Ver 9 I have removed from my PC it seems to be hard work sorting out all the bits and bobs and there is not the 1500 Templates they claim. It is about 190 with just colour changes etc I will now wait and see if X5 can inprove on their ver 9 as it is not as good as ver 8. lastime I put my true opinion on her it was removed .maybe they only want all the good bits but cannot cope with honest opinions. No doubt this pst will removed as lts not giving X5 ver 9 a good report.

Hi Christine, there are different way to say if you like or not a product. Some way could not be accepted. That's all. A comment should be useful but not offensive.

Moreover we give to all our customers the possibility to ask for a refund for the product if they are not satisfied after 30 days the purchase.

We already talk about the templates in other posts. The question is the same for all the previous versions we released in all these years.

I can confirm you that we created 1500 templates: we created 1500 images for the header, 1500 images for the footer, 1500 images for the contents, etc. Infact if you search into the templates folder you will find 1500 'top.jpg', 1500 'bottom.jpg' etc. We have to do that even if the difference is only the hor or ver menu type.

Moreover in this version, respect v8, many templates have 4 different styles and not just different colors. See an example here of the same template:

As you can see from our website, we are not talking about unique templates, we just stated that, together with the software, there are 1500 templates installed that you can use.

If the user is able to choose a vertical or horizontal menu layout, than it means that someone (we) created 2 templates: 1 for hor and 1 for ver menu.
