Image SHOWBOX anomoly!  en

Hello...

(I have corrected the following problem so I am unable to duplicate it here.)

I was checking my published website and I clicked on a particular photo, which should have then appeared in a "1000x1000" showbox as is normal for this operation.

HOWEVER, there was a strange phenomenon in that a very small portion of the photograph was magnified in the showbox and not the complete photograph.

I tried this in preview and with Google Chrome and with Safari browsers with the same result.

To stop this annoyance, I had to delete the image box in my editing mode and create a new one, using the same original photograph.

Why would this happen and how can I guarantee that there aren't other photos with the same problem in the rest of my site? (I could never check ALL of them on my site!)

Best wishes,

Nigel

Hello Nigel,

can you please provide me a link of a page that has this issue or describe exactly what you did to obtain this issue?

I need to duplicate it to see why it happens.

Many thanks!

Hmmm...

As I said, I had to correct this problem but the page was: http://www.hampsteadheath.net/wood-pond.html

The top left photograph, when clicked on, showed a blurry enlargement of the large tree on the left-hand-side.

All I did was to click on this picture on line, but it still behaved like this in "Preview"

To correct the problem I had to remove the whole image object and redo a new one.
