Images don't show in slideshows

Hi all
I have just finished completly rewriting my web site. I spent a lot of thime getting the images in order etc and used the built in otions to setup slide shows (horizontal vertical etc) and they all worked well on the builtin preview engine.
So I sent it to my hoster and bang no images displayed in slideshows. The only way to get the images is in an icon view and they show up fine. Just a bit ugly and i would rather use a slideshow.
Is the problem of my causing or is it general and what if anything can i do?

What type of images did you add? How big they are?
Did you get an error message when viewing the images or are they not present with no message?

I too encountered a similar problem in V10 with partially displaying gallery images, the ftp'd items checked out for byte size.
The only way around was to re ftp the affected images (using wsftp), then review the website and all was OK. (hit F5 to refresh the cache).
This problem occurred in all browsers. (IE10, Firefox, Chrome and Safari

Thanks for the reply. I have fixed the problem by changing providers. The sideshow works now with no problems. It was a problem with the provider.
