Gallery has disappeared
Author: Nigel P.Incomedia WebSite X5 Evolution 10.1.0.39
Hi, I have just made some minor text changes to a clients website, which tested out OK locally.
However, when I uploaded via X5 using its inbuilt ftp, I was unable to view the home page gallery. It has disappeared. I have cleaned out the site files and reuploaded them again but it still doesn't appear. I have refreshed the browser and tried the site out on three other browsers, a tablet and mobile.
The code for the gallery appears to be in the html but doesnt work. All the images have been uploaded... any ideas asap please.
The url is www.brislaundry.co.uk.
I also have V10 Pro installed, is there anything here that could affect the latest upload? I am testing iy out before I change all my sites from Evolution.

Hello Nigel,
Try to open the project and then press the CTRL key while you start the preview to see if the gallery is visible and then upload the complete project again.
Please keep me updated.

Hi Claudio,
The preview still showed as Ok however I re uploaded the site changing the 'Upload Mode' to 'Upload all Website files to the Internet'. The gallery is now showing correctly.
This is strange as the site was comletely uploaded last night, with the X5 ftp option, (the version change to 10.1.0.39 from an earlier version loaded a few month back forced the complete upload) but the problem remained.
I had also reloaded the site completely using WSftp, which also had the problem.
I will monitor any further 'Gallery' uploads.
Thank you, 'Der Zwomemti', who also raised a comment on some javascript problems, which concern me.
My next step will be to export the site to V10 Pro in the next few weeks, once I have finished another project.
Many thanks

Hi Claudio,
WebSite X5 Professional 10.1.0.39
I have just had the same problem with another website, however this time it was with the Professional version. Again this website had been developed from an earlier version but this time it was a 10.1.0.39 Evolution to a 10.1.0.39 Pro version using the Import option to take the project into the Pro version
After the initial upload there was no gallery showing.
Changing the 'Upload Mode' to 'Upload all Website files to the Internet'. resulted in the gallery showing correctly.
Hello Nigel,
Thank you very much for your information. I will check the issue to see on what it could depend.
Please keep me updated if it should happen again.
Many thanks!
