Shopping Cart error  en

H, I have a problem, when sending an on line shopping cart order, from a clients website.

After entering a product, postage options and entering the address details and hitting the 'Buy Now' button I receive the error message 'Error while sending your order'.

The site is hosted by 34sp.com which is running php 5.3.

I have reuploaded all the site to 34sp just in case.

I have also uploaded the details to my own site hosted by 1and1 and get the same error. They are running php 5.5.

Website x5 is version Incomedia WebSite X5 Evolution 10.1.2.42.

I have tried solutions from other users with the same problem

Any ideas the url is www.shadeswindowfilms.co.uk.

Nigel

Hi Claudio,

I have tried out your suggestion but I am still getting the error.

I have ftp'd using X5 and also using Wiseftp, and get the same problem with both methods.

Have you any other ideas, the sop has worked OK for 2 to 3 years withot problem.

Hello Nigel,

I made a test Order n. 140115-SU31 and the cart worked perfectly.

Can you please test the cart again to see if you still get the same error message?

Many thanks!

Hi Claudio,

Yes it works as expected now, not sure why it was failing, after the update, when I tried yesterday. Maybe it was a browser cache problem but I'm sure I cleared it before retrying it.

I will keep my eyes on it. Cannot, keeping the Ctrl key pressed, be made as a software change? As I have seen its advice used in several other problems

Thanks for the help

Nigel

Hello Nigel,

The option to press the CTRL key is only used to regenerate all files instead of using the cahced ones by the program. It is used in cases when not all files are generated correctly immediatly.

Please let me know if it should happen again.

Many thanks!
