Registration Problems With Evolution 9  en

Am I the only one experiencing massive problems getting version 9 to work I have been struggling with Website X5 for more than a week and the support person is very hard to get in touch with. Apparently, this person only answers around noon on weekdays. Every time the person passes a new question or passes a new solution, which doesn't work, I have to wait 24 hours for a reply. According to the support person, the problem is not the way Incomedia build their software, but the way Microsoft builds their operating system - in my case Windows 7. It is sad to experience this lack of professionalism!

I know I had problems with the registry. I ran a registery fix after I ininstalled V9 and then reinstalled it. The problems manifest inexteremely slow opening of projects to greying out and FTP unable to see directory. Since the time I ran a registery fix all these problems disappeared. Try using a registry fix program.

Hello Henrik, I confirm you that there are no problems running WebSite X5 on Win7 (32 or 64bit). The problem you are having is only related to the activation process.

For some strange reason WSX5 gets an invalid unlock code instead of the imRegister. This is really incredible since the 2 softwares contain exactly the same code lines! This happens only because on one of your PCs, this is surely related to some 'special' settings you have, otherwise all the customers would have the same problem Wink.

We already tried to recreate the same issues on one of our PCs but we were not able to Undecided

I also confirm you that we are really interested to 'understand' and solve this problem but actually it's quite hard, just because we cannot recreate it here. What we can do now, is ask your support and let you test one of the solutions we have already suggested you in the private post (http://answers.websitex5.com/post/8422).

Moreover, because we are talking about the registration process, please note that all these tests are strickly confidential...Sealed

I will follow you personally in that post and I will add now 2 more tests you can do.

I'll wait for your reply. Thanks Steve.
