INSERT A SLIDER TO HOMEPAGE

I do not think the instructions for adding a slider to the home page are very clear. I am finding it difficult to add a slider (made with amazing slider) to my site. www.harlequinworkshop.co.uk. Could you provide step by step instructions for people without any technical knowledge please. For example exactly where files should be saved and exactly where to place the code. All files and the html slider have been saved to a folder called sliderengine and uploaded to my site but I am not sure is this is correct.

I checked your website, you are using v10
1. add the codes need to be in the head section of your page (go to step2, select your page, click on properties, go to expert tab and add your head section code over there
2. add an html object inside your page, open it and add the rest of your code over there, remove the checkmark for show scroll, add a chekmark for atomatic hight
make sure the size of your slider fits inside your template
3. inside same html object, click on expert tab, then click add the script files over there
I look at your code that you attached, and 100 things are wrong over there! not a good choice!

they dont have source address!!

instead of E, it has to be http, E is your local drive and server can not see that!
since you are using ver10 pro, and you are not a code savvy, I suggest you to use gallery object built in in your x5 program and it will create a Html5 slider for you and its compatible with all browsers.

I walked http://amazingslider.com/ I recommend looking for a way to add a video slider and this is the option that I found it easier (I have no idea web programming) and very configurable. I hope you serve something.
