I can never upgrade to the next version of WebsiteX5 Pro

I can't install the update. It tells me the program is already running and says to close the program and try again. There isn't another program running to close. I have to download the whole file and install it like a new install where it asks me for my activation key, anyone else have this issue?
I have a:
WebSiteX5 Pro 10.1.6.50
samsung UltraBook
256 SSD
Windows 8.1
8GB Ram

Hello Thomas,
do you have other versions of the program on your computer? I see you have several licences.
Do you receive an error message in particular? Could you please eventually describe exactly what you did when you tried to install?
