Insuffient info on shopping order  en

I have received this message from someone whose website I maintain:

"I am receiving orders with a code number instead of the name of the item the customer requires. The latest one is numbered 160516-EN53, which means nothing to me. I can ask the customer what they wan by email, but it would be better if the order stated what product is required."

I have checked the Shopping Cart and can't see anything wrong. Please can anyone help?

Hello Anne,

Please see the following thread which discusses this scenario:

These 'code numbers' are automatically generated order numbers, which can be cross-referenced to the emails which both buyer and seller receive, to check which items were purchased.
