Can you disable the default sticky bar scroll in/scroll out animation?
Auteur : Jon B.I am using a sticky bar in my current project, but cannot find a way to disable the animation effect it uses when it appears/disappears.
Essentially, the user scrolls down the page and the sticky bar scrolls into the top of the browser. I am fine with this part. However, when the user scrolls back to the top, the sticky bar then scrolls up and out of the browser to reveal the header defined menu underneath it. It makes the website look sloppy when the sticky bar menu slides upwards to show the same exact menu underneath it.
Is there any way to disable it or should I just not use a sticky bar until this is resolved?
I found an example of a website where this occurs in another thread on here. This is not my site; just one that I found while trying to find an answer to my question.
As the system functions now, you can have the menu and the sticky bar to look exactly the same. As in the example you give.
It is correct, that the menu in the example, should have been sticky, instead of the "sloppy" shifting.
You can do this by using some code.
Example here : http://www.bramminginfo.dk/brm05
BUT - you can also see the sticky bar as an extra possibility.
On my testsite here : http://www.bramminginfo.dk/brm02/index.html
The theme is starting as green nd then it becomes a more neutral grey.
It goes on here : http://www.bramminginfo.dk/brm02/s.-ansgar.html
where the page starts also in the green, and when scrolling shifts to the neutral grey.
It would be nice if we had the possibility to make the menu/header fixed - as I have done it in my first example
Make an idea post for a fixed menu - I will give it a thumb up.
Kind regards

I think it could be done by just letting us specify:
1 - Sticky menu always visible ( fixed )
OR
2- sticky menu only appear when header scrolls up ( as it is now )
