Removing html code in Option 3 not possible / bug X5 Version 16.1.1  en

Annoying things to discover in V16.1.1.

In Option 3 (MAP) I choose a page and go to settings (Eigenschappen)

I choose Advanced to change custom html codes which I entered before already.

No way I can change or remove it (Voor het sluiten van de tag (HEAD) and After Opening of the tag BODY

I highlight everything and press delete. Nothing happens.

New to me but annoying!

Heb je admin rechten? Probeer eens in te loggen met admin rechten. Wellicht helpt dat.

Ja, admin rights are ok since I have been working with this version for the last 2 days.

I have been to the steps as described above. No luck. I cannot change or even delete the HTML file which I entered yesterday.

I uninstalled X5 and installed again as Admin but same problem.

I'm experiencing major bugs with this version.

@KolAsim, what you describe is correct but this also possible on page level by going to Option 3 and then Settings - Advanced. It is also possible to add html codes etc. And there is where the problems starts.

Dit moet je gewoon kunnen weghalen. Heb je een andere pc met x5? exporteer project dan eens en probeer het daar.

Of start pc opniuw met zo weinig mogelijk programma's  en probeer het dan nog eens, some zit er een ander programma dwars.

Wellicht moet je .framework eens opnieuw instaleren

No, same problem again. It seems that it happens after working with X5 for a while and suddenly the problems start.

I have de-installed Windows Framework, restarted the pc but same problem.

I did not notice extra text entered via the expert panel.  (possibly what would be the text to look for?)
But I noticed this important mistake, which you should try to repair.

I would lik to change the text but I can't. I can highlight it but I cannot delete it in X5 that is the problem.

I ccopied the whole project to another pc and it works like a charm. No problems at all so I have my doubts if the problem is related to the 'important mistake'. It should be related to my pc I guess but what?

Monica,

As already stated I think it is a program on your pc or firewall or maybe not updated?

Start your pc with as less programs as possible. close programs that startup automaticly. use ctrl-shift-escape

close all you don't trust, test x5, if it works start up program for program and see if ths helps. you need to debug on your pc step by step.

It is difficult to help in that from here.

Andre, I also discovered that on the correct working pc the 'normal text' is selected in the text object field. In the pc with problems this field is empty and each time I select 'Normal Text' it is not being saved.

Yes, there good be more fields nnot functining.

I realy doný know why, you got a good (payed) up to date virus scanner?

It must be a program (or virus) wich in fact is also a program that interferes or (I asume Windows) has some issues.

I just can't call that from here, as already said you need to debug / check. use the other pc in the meantime.

Stai avviando website come amministratore ? click col destro sul icona e avvia come amministratore 

Have you try right click on website icon and run as administrator ?

Yes, Andre , I saw your suggestion , but I saw also Monica answer : (Ja, admin rights are ok)

and run windows with admin rights it's not the same as run a program as administrator

just one minute for this test wink

maybe it's caused by a windows update

Thank you for your response. I removed the X5 software and de-installed the last windows updates like Microoft NET.Framework 4.7 etc. and re-installed everything again. Same issues.

I suggest you to installa softwarei n another pc so you can continue to work and that try to resolve the problem in the first pc.

Also considers the possibility of restoring windows.
