After the latest update all the templates on the pictures of the products can not be applied or changed anymore and when you try to apply specific one of those filters the programm accidentaly shuts down and you lost all your previous work. And the main problem it is the fact that we made some changes on our website and we upload it and accidentally the welcoming page does not work and for that reason does not work the official URL of the website. What can we do for those problems;

George - could this be related to your issue?
https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/fr/post/210455
If you are experiencing problems could you PLEASE go to step5 export project - often!!
This will create an iwzip which can be renamed at time of creation (incremental numbering? date?) and will provide an excellent backup (far better & more reliable than the inbuilt backup routine).
Can you provide the url of your website?
Have you tried www.yourwebsitename.com/index.php or index.html or home.html - do any of these work?

Yes home.html works but instead of this i want the first page, which is my home page to have URL such as www.mywebsitename.com (without the extension of home.html).
Hello George,
In order to troubleshoot this accurately and efficiently please can you provide a link to your website, as Esahc requested?
If you use the Entry Page in WebSite X5 then the software by default allocates index.html as the entry/welcome page, and home.html as the home page:
https://help.websitex5.com/en/v2019.1/pro/index.html?pagina_intro.htm
If at any point you decide to forego the entry page then it would be prudent to delete both these files from the server and make a fresh upload of your WebSite X5 project to the server
OR
delete index.html on the server, and rename home.html to index.html (you can do this using an FTP client like FileZilla, or you can use Step 5 in WebSite X5).
If you want www.mywebsitename.com to be shown in the browser address bar as opposed to www.mywebsitename.com/home.html then you will need to use something called an .htaccess file on the server.
Please let us know if you need further help or explanation with any of this.
Kind regards,
Paul

George - just a thought
In settings (step 1), advanced, click on entry page. If it is on, turn it off and then save. If it is off turn it on and save and then turn it off and save.
Now go to step 3, select your site home page, select properties and check the file name at the bottom, it should be index.
If you require an entry page, return to settings advanced entry page and turn it on. Use the required settings and save
If you now return to step 3, properties, you should see the file named as home.
A project I recently updated got similarly confused, in my case the tick was missing in jump to homepage so nothing happened when I opened the site online.

Thank you very much for you advices. I did what you had proposed me but the programm turned my menu into this. What can i do to change it in the previous form;

The name of my web site is rimar.gr
Hello again George,
Your menu displays in full for me at desktop resolution:
You can define the various settings and conditions under which the hamburger button will appear, using the Menu Object:

I haven't upload my site with the changes yet, becauce i can not fix all the problems. I didn't make any changes at the menu form and i can not turn it to the previous form (which it the form you see in our site)
In Step 2 Template Settings > Template Content double-click on the Menu icon to edit its Properties... then on the Main tab ensure that the box marked 'Always display the Hamburger Button' is unchecked.
And be sure to read thoroughly the new help section that I linked to in the post above, as the characteristics of the Menu have changed considerably since earlier versions of WebSite X5. In particular be aware of the following:
When there isn't enough space to display all the items in the main menu, this is automatically replaced by the Hamburger button. This also happens if you did not choose to create a responsive website (in Resolutions and Responsive Design).

Thank you i fixed it, but apart from the problem with the links which i haven't fix it yet, i have one more problem.
In the templates of the pictures of my products i can see the template which i have previously chose, i change it but it can not be applied on the image

Can I see somewhere the properties of the welcoming page; such as the file name etc
My apologies, I can't quite grasp what you mean, George. Could you explain this issue in greater detail? A screenshot would be extremely useful, if possible. Many thanks!
Yes, go to Step 3 Sitemap Creation... click once on the Entry Page in the sitemap under Special Pages (to highlight it and give it focus), then click on the Properties button on the toolbar above. You will see that the filename is fixed at 'index' - it has to be this way in order for the entry page to work correctly, unless you change your default DirectoryIndex on the server.

Thank you very much for the second answer!
For the first question here is the explanation!
In the following picture is the list of my products. In the third category which has the templates of the pictures i had chose the second theme, but now i want to apply the first one and i chose it but nothing happened.
It sounds like a possible cache issue, George. But can you also confirm that you clicked on the large green tick at the top right of the screen, having made your changes?
Try holding down the CTRL key while entering the Preview mode in WebSite X5.
If using other browsers try holding down the CTRL key whilst pressing F5, which will clear the browser cache and ensure you are viewing the most recent version of the page you are working on.
Please keep us updated.
