I have imported the project again from the backup but. Issue that I am facing is whatever new changes I make to the project it is not taking it at all.

like if I add an object .. it does not show it in preview as well as if I copy it to website files and update to server it is not gettin refelected to it at all.

Rohit, please advise which version you are developing your site in. Are you working with Go or v12 or other?

You were very fortunate to have been able to retrieve the project from backup but the instability or corruption is a major issue. For future reference please go to step 5, export project and create an iwzip file. If using v12, please then go to where you saved the iwzip and append the date so you can do this often and keep multiple versions (in new versions the iwzip can be "renamed on the fly").

Before proceeding please duplicate or make an iwzip. When you select backup and redo, are there multiple backups to choose from (perhaps you could try another?), if not import the iwzip you just created (this will not overwrite your project) and see if this new project is stable.

the version is v12 Evolution.

the strange thing is what ever updation i do to that project it is not taking it at all. just showing that object being added to the project. but no updation displaying in preview as well as on website.

Go to step 5 and export project if you can. If successful, run wx5 and select import.

I have had the same problem for 2 days, but with Software WX5 Prof. I have been working on it for 2 days and have finally found the solution! It is due to the last website x5 2020.13 update This version, apparently, has problems with older project files. I just tried an old version of WX5 2019.3.17 and edited the old project file with it and uploaded it ... everything works as it should be ... I hope I could help. (Google translator)

i have been using the same version of software for years no change. Also another issue apart from what i am facing right now is, eveytime i add or remove an object or make some major changes to the project such as entry page or add code to entry page, the software crashes most of the time leading to rethink about should i continue use it or look for an alternate.

My request that you create an iwzip was marked as abusive, I do not understand why but I apologise. Frequently creating an iwzip from a project with issues and then importing this new iwzip can repair the damage.

Perhaps I have misunderstood what you have done to date. There are 2 "backup" options (backup and redo and export project to iwzip and import) and until I am sure what you have tried I am at a loss to suggest alternative courses of actions.

I still do not know if you tried the various backups that may be available, nor do I know if the iwzip you say you imported was from a time before issues became apparent, but if this is the case the issue may be windows (require reboot/recent update?), 3rd party antivirus/malware/firewall/vpn? or an underlying issue with the hard disk. If other projects do not work WX5 may need to be reinstalled.

It is most definitely time for a rethink and the best alternative is the most recent version of WX5 but first you need a good iwzip file without any known embedded issues. v12 is many years old and not supported.
