Hi everyone,
How do I make my Website printer friendly? The site I have built - www.sigwa.info - relies on tables at the top of the page and large slideshow and then Text boxes, e-mail forms and more tables.
I've taken a lot of time trying to get the look of the pages right for what I want it to be, but if a page is printed, it looks nothing like the browser version.
Please have a look at the site - particularly the "Archive" pages in the "Signal Cabins" and "Station Frames" buttons. There are a lot of them, but each is built from a template and then modified as neccessary.
Cheers,
ChrisF.

Here is an example page and how it prints out. See attachments:
Hello Chris,
In the project there is a css stylesheet for the print option where all grafic content is not printed to make the website print friendly so that ink is saved.
If you require any further information, please feel free to write back.

Hi,
Maybe I didn't use the correct words?
What I need, is to be able to print out a page and have it look exactly like the page that is displayed in the browser: http://www.sigwa.info/avon-yard-panel.html
I've tried using the word 'Print' as a link, and whilst it does print the page, all the table formatting is lost and only the text within the table is printed, as well as photos, etc.
My site is one dealing with Heritage buildings and railway history, and many of my viewers are not happy that they can't print out the pages. Any help will be gladly accepted.
Example has been attached of an example print-out from a page as it prints now.
Cheers,
ChrisF.
Hello Chris,
To have the tables visible when you print the page you can add following code in Step 1 - General Settings - Expert Tab - in the "Enter code to customize your Website HEAD" Box:
<style>
table, td { border: 1px solid; !important}
</style>
If you want to make appear other parts that are made invisible during the print function you can do this be editing the print.css file in the Style folder once you exported the project.
If you require any further information, please feel free to write back.
