Contact Form causes http 500 error on server

I inserted a contact form into my web page. When I uploaded to the server everything appears normal and the contact form can be filled in but when the send button is clicked the error message

Hello David,
Do the following check the PHP settings at your provider should be 7.1
do a full upload )not partly' and try again after pressing F5 in your browser.

Thanks Andre I found it was only PHP of 5.6 so I made it 7.4 and all worked fine. Thanks for your help.
