The date format in the Blog is not correct  en

In the blog, the Published by information has the date incorrectly formatted.

I have already modified "date_format" in Language Content Management to reflect "[D] [M] [dd]  [yyyy]", but this has no effect on the blog where the date appears incorrect.

I would like the date to appear as Month/Day/Year and not as it appears Day/Month/Year.

How is this done?

you are correct, I changed it inside my program as well, when you create the post, shows the right format inside the program, but if you click on the preview it will show the same old format. it is not wrong, but in this part of the world (south and north america) we use [M] [dd]  [yyyy] format.

after you published your website go to folder name res and find the file X5engine.js, open it with wordpad or inside your server open it with text editor, and change the format over there see if it works.

also if you already have post and that did not change the format of your old posts, you need to change the time stamp inside onther file which you can find it inside blog/x5blog.js

and search for timestamp

Anthony,

I was unable to find timestamp in x5engine.js or anything that might change the date format so perhaps you can be more specific.

I updated all of the timestamps in blog/x5blog.js and this had no apparent effect.

I did find that if I manually change blog.inc.php, the changes would appear, but all of them would revert if I make any changes to the blog.  This solution will not work for me as I try to update the blog on a daily bassis and I would have to manually modify the files each time.

Any other ideas?  I know that you said this is "not wrong", but it really should be fixed.

Do they even read those things?  I have never gotten any response on any idea post, good or bad.
