Hello,

In my website, I want my customers to buy a subscription, a bit like a magazine, then they need to register, and after that, they need to login to access a specific section of my website.

I have read bits and pieces of how its set up in Wesbite X5 Professional 12, but I still can't understand how exactly it must be done.

Can someone give me a step-by-step instructions on what I need to do to set that subscription/registration/login steup?

And perhaps Incomedia could consider to make a detailed utorial on this setup, since its relatively growing in popularity for many businesses. :)

Hi Kim Dion,

You can set the automatic registration at step 4 - advanced settings - access management.

Also, I suggest you to check in our web guide: http://help.websitex5.com/en/v12/evo/index.html and in the more complete guide that you can download from the "my downloads" section here on your profile.

Hope this helps

A simple way is to lock the pages of your website who need subscription for defined users configured before in admin area. When your visitors buy your subscription, should be redirected to registration page. After you check payment, you send by email user and password for every user.

That's a very good idea. And I should obviously create a new user for each customer; but they all must link to the same page they pay for, is that right, even if its different customers? Or I make a different copy of the same page for each different customer?
