I installed the new version [13] to my computer and the window opens up as it loads the libraries.

Then another window opens up telling me an error occured while running the program, reinstall - can't load counter name data because an invalid index " was read from the registry

I uninstalled the program, cleaned my registry, ran CCleaner and re-installed the program.  Same problem.  Help please.  Has anyone come accross this problem please?

Hello Antonio,

You need to run at the command prompt as an 'administrator' in Windows...  running as an ordinary user will give you error code 5.

Please continue on your own thread which you opened earlier today:

Simone,

Running "lodctr /R" fixed the initial "invalid index" and later "Catagory does not exist" errors I was getting.

Thanks!

Thanks Simone  and everyone else.  I wrote the  code in cmd as an administrator and the software then installed flawlessly.  Thanks for your help.
